ECHO 28820-08001 - SPEED-FEED 450 HEAD (Clearance Item)

These are genuine OEM Echo/Shindaiwa Speed-Feed 450 bump heads — not aftermarket copies. That matters. The fit, finish, and durability are exactly what you’d expect from factory equipment, and they install and perform the way they should. I specifically wanted the 450, not the 500. The 500 has had reports of overheating and string melting issues, and I haven’t experienced any of that with the 450. This head runs cool, feeds line smoothly, and is incredibly easy to reload — just feed the line through and twist. No disassembly, no fighting springs, no wasted time. If you want the real OEM part and a proven, reliable design, this is the one to get. I’d absolutely buy again.

I have ordered SpeedFeed 450s from three other suppliers and I have always gotten the SpeedFeed 500… One even tried to make me pay return shipping but changed once I proved them wrong.
