The Kohler ECV-860 824 cc Command PRO EFI engine (Bad Boy Part #015-0824-00) delivers modern performance and efficiency through its closed-loop electronic fuel injection system. With 824 cc displacement, EFI, hydraulic valve lifters, and full-pressure lubrication, it’s built for demanding zero-turn and turf applications where consistency, reliability, and ease of starting matter.
This engine is commonly used on 2015–2017 Outlaw / Outlaw Extreme mowers. The ECV-860 offers smooth throttle response, better cold starts, and fewer running issues under variable conditions compared to older carbureted engines.
Key design features include V-twin configuration, vertical PTO, OHV heads, and cast-iron cylinder liners for durability.
