Product Description
This is a Drive Disc. Manufactured by Stens. The center of the drive pulley is connected to the engine crankshaft through a key. The drive pulley rotates when the engine is running. A driven disk is connected to the blade through a blade holder. The control cable is connected to a movable brake plate the plate has two friction brake pads. A large brake return spring holds the brake plate in the "Brake on Position" in this position, the friction brake pads push the driven disk and stop the driven disk, blade holder and, blade from rotating.
