Manufactured by Briggs & Stratton. Pack of 1 (493537S) pre-cleaner. This flat style, foam pre-cleaner provides superior protection against the destructive effects of dirt ingestion. Used on select 3.5 through 6.75 HP Quantum Engines and 625 through 1575 Series engines, this OEM part ensures proper fit and performance to maintain the life of your Briggs & Stratton engine. The combustion air filter prevents abrasive particulate matter from entering the engine's cylinders, where it would cause mechanical wear and oil contamination. Most fuel injected vehicles use a pleated paper filter element in the form of a flat panel.
